Volleyball Recap: TAYLOR FINNE Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Sparks

There's no place like home for Incline, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Sparks Railroaders with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The Highlanders not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 1, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Incline was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-8, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Incline to victory, but perhaps none more so than TAYLOR FINNE, who had 23 assists and four digs. FINNE has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more assists the last three times she's played. KAYLEE ALAMILLA TINOCO was another key player, getting six aces.

Incline was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got Incline back to even at 5-5. As for Sparks, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Incline is set to challenge their familiar foe Wooster at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sparks will square off against rival South Tahoe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
