Softball Recap: Royall Panthers vs. Reedsburg Beavers
Royall kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 16-6 walloping at the hands of the Reedsburg Beavers. The loss means Royall is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
For Reedsburg's part, Summer Haag made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Haag was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.
In other batting news, Reedsburg got a massive performance out of Elizabeth Haag, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Megan Raupp, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
