Basketball Recap: IDEA Bridge Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-35, which was the final score in the IDEA Bridge Capitals's tilt against the Southern Lab Kittens on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Capitals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Kittens are ranked 28th).

This is the second loss in a row for IDEA Bridge and nudges their season record down to 6-12. As for Southern Lab, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

IDEA Bridge won't have much time to rest: their next match is against West Feliciana at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern Lab, they will take on Destrehan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
