Football Recap: Davenport Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Davenport was the 37-7 winner over Horizon when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncos took a 34-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Friday. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaio Oliveira was his usual excellent self, rushing for 218 yards and five scores for Horizon. Those 218 rushing yards gave Oliveira a new career-high.

Davenport now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Horizon, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Davenport will challenge Ridge Community at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Horizon, they will square off against Windermere at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines' defense has only allowed 2.4 points per game this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
