Football Recap: Ridgewood Beats Hackensack for Their 13th Straight Win

Ridgewood put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hackensack Comets 34-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Maroons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Ridgewood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Gabby Winn.

Ridgewood's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Hackensack, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Ridgewood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 34-7 victory against St. Benedict's Prep on the 1st. As for Hackensack, they will face off against DePaul Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 7.3 points per game this season, so the Comets' offense will have their work cut out for them.
