Football Recap: Block Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Block's offense. They were outmatched by the St. Frederick Warriors and fell 50-0. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Warriors are ranked 138th).

Block is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6. As for St. Frederick, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Block will welcome General Trass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Frederick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delhi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
