Mt. Spokane is a perfect 6-0 against Ferris since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will host the Saxons at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mt. Spokane has three straight wins, Ferris has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Mt. Spokane beats Ferris with 21 points on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lewis & Clark 21-18.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Ferris' offense. They took a 17-0 bruising from University on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Saxons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Titans are ranked 102nd).

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mt. Spokane, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Mt. Spokane against Ferris in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 46-7 victory. In that matchup, the Wildcats amassed a halftime lead of 37-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
