Volleyball Recap: Everett Has No Trouble Against Oak Harbor

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Everett walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oak Harbor Wildcats on Thursday. The Seagulls haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Everett not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Oak Harbor between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-20.

Everett found their leader in freshman Elsa Breeden, who had four digs and four aces. Ava Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Everett's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Oak Harbor, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13-2.

Coming up, Everett will head out to square off against Edmonds-Woodway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Harbor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
