Basketball Game Preview: Stanley Blue Jays vs. South Prairie/Max

The Stanley Blue Jays will face off against South Prairie/Max at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Stanley has nine straight victories, South Prairie/Max has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Stanley challenged New Town on Friday. Stanley snuck past New Town with a 42-36 win.

Meanwhile, South Prairie/Max ended up a good deal behind Des Lacs-Burlington on Friday and lost 67-50.

Stanley pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for South Prairie/Max, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Everything went Stanley's way against South Prairie/Max in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Stanley made off with a 52-30 win. Will Stanley repeat their success, or does South Prairie/Max have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
