Basketball Recap: Fort Walton Beach Takes a Loss

Fort Walton Beach entered their match against Niceville on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Fort Walton Beach Vikings fell 55-43 to the Niceville Eagles. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Fort Walton Beach still got an impressive performance from Rodric Starks, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Xy Childres was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals.

Fort Walton Beach now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Niceville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
