Soccer Recap: Watseka Comes Up Short

Watseka was the 7-2 winner over St. Anne when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors lost 10-1 to the Cardinals on Monday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Watseka were already down 9-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Jose Tobar, who's now up to two this season.

Watseka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. Anne, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Watseka has already played their next game, a 5-5 victory against Iroquois West on the 9th. As for St. Anne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 9-0 win against Illinois Lutheran on the 9th.
