Softball Recap: Daingerfield Comes Up Short

Daingerfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to the New Diana Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in March.

Daingerfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for New Diana, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Daingerfield has already played their next contest, an 11-8 win against Chapel Hill on the 7th. As for New Diana, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 victory against Jefferson on the 7th.
