Soccer Recap: Owosso Comes Up Short

Owosso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Flushing Raiders. While losing is never fun, Owosso can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 367th, while Flushing are ranked 95th).

Owosso's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Flushing, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Owosso will face off against Durand at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flushing, they will take on Fenton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
