Basketball Recap: Kinsley Takes a Loss

Kinsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 42-30 to the LaCrosse Leopards. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Leopards apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

LaCrosse's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Molly Showalter, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Showalter a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clara Thielenhaus, who went 5-for-12 en route to 11 points and six assists.

Kinsley's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for LaCrosse, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Kinsley has already played their next game (against Victoria), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for LaCrosse, they will take on Minneola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
