Softball Recap: Southwest Florida Christian Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Southwest Florida Christian's offense. They fell just short of the Mariner Tritons by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the King's in their meetings with the Tritons: they've now lost four in a row.

Southwest Florida Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Mariner, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Southwest Florida Christian will challenge Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mariner, they will square off against Bonita Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tritons are facing the Bullsharks at the right time seeing as the Bullsharks are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
