Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Early County). They put the hurt on the Mitchell County Eagles with a sharp 50-30 win on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Early County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devonis Lee, who rushed for 159 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries. Evan Grist was another key player, rushing for 84 yards on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Early County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 350 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 182 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
