Basketball Recap: Lincoln Triumphs

Lincoln hadn't done well against Sylvan-Lucas recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lincoln Leopards managed a 44-40 victory over the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs. For the Leopards, this counts as revenge for the 55-54 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Sylvan-Lucas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Lincoln will be home for the holidays to greet St. John's/Tipton Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln's defense has only allowed 15.8 points per game this season, so St. John's/Tipton Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they will head out on the road to take on Pike Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pike Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.
