Softball Recap: Beaufort Comes Up Short

Beaufort lost against Hanahan back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Beaufort Eagles came up short against the Hanahan Hawks, falling 13-4.

Arianna Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Caylin Adkins, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Beaufort's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hanahan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Beaufort will be playing at home against Bishop England at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Beaufort has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Hanahan, they will take on Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
