Softball Recap: West Falls Short of Lexington in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lexington Eagles by a score of 17-16 on Saturday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 15-19-1. As for Lexington, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-7.

West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lexington has already played their next contest (against Central Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
