Basketball Recap: Kyrese Lukens Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Vienna

There's no place like home for Herrin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Vienna Eagles 53-50. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Eagles are ranked 252nd), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Herrin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyrese Lukens led the charge by putting up 18 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Grady Cox, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points.
