It was a good run, but Keefe Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Burncoat Patriots, falling 8-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 9-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Keefe Tech's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Burncoat, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keefe Tech will venture away from home to take on Worcester Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something the Broncos will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Burncoat, they will head out to square off against Doherty Memorial at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
