It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Angola ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against the Adams Central Flying Jets by a score of 25-21. The Hornets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Angola's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Adams Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
