Basketball Game Preview: Circleville Tigers vs. Gallia Academy Blue Devils

The Circleville Tigers will square off against the Gallia Academy Blue Devils at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Circleville will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Circleville is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since December 13, 2024 on Wednesday. They skirted past Hamilton Township 44-42. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Rangers are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Gallia Academy hadn't done well against Chesapeake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Gallia Academy enjoyed a cozy 46-32 victory over Chesapeake.

Gallia Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Circleville, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
