Volleyball Recap: Holdrege Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Holdrege extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Ogallala. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Indians. This was a revenge game for the Dusters: when they faced off against the Indians two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Carson Sundquist paced Holdrege's offense, picking up 19 kills. Sundquist got some help from Addy Stutzman and her 44 assists. Ellie Pelster controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Ogallala still got an impressive performance from Addison Slama, who had 21 digs and three assists. Slama has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played. Sadie Flansburg was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Holdrege is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for Ogallala, with the loss, they broke their 13-match winning streak and moved their record to 31-4.

Holdrege didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Concordia on the 7th. Ogallala does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
