Simi Valley falls despite big games from Kyle Hoffer and Justin Rener

Recap: Simi Valley Pioneers vs. Campbell Hall Vikings
The Simi Valley Pioneers and the Campbell Hall Vikings squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Simi Valley Pioneers had to settle for second. They were dealt a 81-53 loss at the hands of the Vikings.
Justin Rener and Kyle Hoffer certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Rener scored 17 points, while Hoffer scored 17 points. Ryder Mjoen was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists.
Simi Valley's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Campbell Hall, their win bumped their record up to 12-16.
Simi Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Campbell Hall, they will face off against Saugus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Campbell Hall's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 19 matchups.
