There's no place like home for Normal West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Champaign Central Maroons on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Maroons: they've now won four in a row.

Normal West easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21.

Normal West's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Champaign Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Normal West and Champaign Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings.
