Thornton Academy faced Biddeford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Beck Edgerly tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
