Volleyball Game Preview: College Prep of America Thunder vs. Aqsa Legends

College Prep of America hasn't had much luck against Aqsa recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Thunder will head out on the road to square off against the Legends at 5:30 p.m. Aqsa took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on College Prep of America, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, College Prep of America turned things around against Universal on Monday. They came out on top against the Stars by a score of 2-0.

College Prep of America never let Universal on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Aqsa came up short against MCC on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Legends haven't had much luck with the Crescents recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Aqsa was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0.

Aqsa's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for College Prep of America, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

College Prep of America couldn't quite get it done against Aqsa when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Thunder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
