Basketball Recap: Heath Comes Up Short

Heath was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 45-35 to the Utica Redskins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-45 back in December of 2025.

Heath's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Utica, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heath will take on Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Utica, they will challenge Zanesville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redskins' defense better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 53.8 points per game this season.
