Baseball Recap: Terrell Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Terrell's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars on Friday. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 17 in a row.

Terrell's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Midlothian Heritage, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Terrell will take on rival Kaufman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Midlothian Heritage is set to square off against their familiar foe Ennis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Jaguars 2.8, the Lions 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
