Football Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Emanuel County Institute

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Emanuel County Institute). They never let the Savannah Bluejackets get on the board and left with a 37-0 victory on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Bluejackets are ranked 448th).

The win was the fifth in a row for Emanuel County Institute, bringing their record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.6 points on average over those games. As for Savannah, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
