Softball Recap: Lowcountry Leadership Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Lowcountry Leadership finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Branchville Yellow Jackets, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the NaviGators haven't been shut out since back in March.

Lowcountry Leadership moved to 8-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Branchville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Leadership will challenge Timberland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Branchville, they will face off against Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
