Softball Game Preview: Christoval Cougars vs. Colorado Wolves

The Christoval Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Colorado Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Colorado will be up against a hot Christoval team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Cougars put the hurt on Miles with a sharp 24-17 victory on Thursday. The Cougars' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Colorado came out on top. Everything went their way against Miles on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-3 win. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bryanna Munoz was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Taelynn Oden was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Colorado lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Christoval's record is now 15-4-1. As for Colorado, their record now sits at 15-9.

Christoval skirted past Colorado 13-11 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
