Basketball Recap: Pettus Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After losing to Three Rivers the last time they met, Pettus decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pettus Eagles rang in the new year with a 46-37 victory over the Three Rivers Bulldogs on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Pettus' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14. As for Three Rivers, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Pettus will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kenedy at 7:30 p.m. Pettus is facing Kenedy at the right time seeing as Kenedy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Three Rivers, they will head out to face off against Woodsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
