Soccer Recap: Alpharetta Takes a Loss

Alpharetta lost against Dunwoody back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Alpharetta fell 3-1 to Dunwoody. While losing is never fun, Alpharetta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Dunwoody are ranked 91st).

Alpharetta is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10. As for Dunwoody, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Coming up, Alpharetta will head out to challenge North Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alpharetta is facing North Atlanta at the right time seeing as North Atlanta is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Dunwoody, they will welcome Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunwoody will be up against Centennial's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
