Softball Recap: Bath County Comes Up Short

Bath County lost to Highland back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 12-11. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bath County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Highland, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Bath County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highland, they will square off against Eastern Montgomery at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
