Volleyball Recap: Bayfront Charter Comes Up Short

Bayfront Charter lost against San Diego Academy back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sharks lost 3-0 to the Cavaliers. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Bayfront Charter had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-20.

Bayfront Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for San Diego Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

While Bayfront Charter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
