Soccer Recap: Pacifica Victorious

Pacifica's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Troy Warriors. Preston Gullion had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Pacifica got from the refs.

Christian Willis and Gullion scored all three of Pacifica's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Pacifica picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-14-5. As for Troy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pacifica and Troy will both be playing Cypress the next time they take the pitch. The Warriors will host the Centurions at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mariners will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
