Baseball Recap: Inland Lakes Gets the Win

Inland Lakes won against Pellston last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bulldogs didn't even let the Central Lake Trojans on the board, marking the Bulldogs' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Bulldogs have beaten the Trojans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Inland Lakes' win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Central Lake, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Inland Lakes will host Gaylord at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Lake, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against St. Mary Cathedral at 12:00 p.m.
