Baseball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Scurry-Rosser's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

It's playoff time, and Scurry-Rosser had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the McGregor Bulldogs on Friday by a score of 3-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Scurry-Rosser is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for McGregor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Scurry-Rosser beat the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.
