Softball Recap: Corinth Holders Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Corinth Holders finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 9-2 to the Garner Trojans. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 17-2.

Corinth Holders' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Garner, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Corinth Holders will take on Southern Alamance at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garner, they will square off against Willow Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Storm at the right time seeing as the Storm are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
