Volleyball Recap: North Haven Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Haven lost against Sacred Heart Academy on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Nighthawks lost 3-0 to the Sharks. The Nighthawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-6.

Bianca Watts paced North Haven's offense, picking up five kills. Watts got some help from Guilianna Mesner and her eight assists. Finally, Watts was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

JJ Kirck was her usual excellent self, getting 15 digs and four aces for Sacred Heart Academy. That's the most aces Kirck has posted since back in October of 2024.

North Haven's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Haven will take on rival Sheehan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sacred Heart Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Career Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
