It was a good run, but Mt. Healthy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Northwest Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Zi Leonard paced Mt. Healthy's offense, picking up four kills. Leonard got some help from Lareina LJ Jackson and her five assists. Nyelle Weathers and Tanaja Williams kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Mt. Healthy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Northwest, their win ended an eight-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Coming up, Mt. Healthy will challenge North College Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they will square off against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
