Baseball Recap: Tinley Park Comes Up Short

Tinley Park suffered their biggest defeat since April 4th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lemont Lemont HS, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lemont HS this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Monday.

Tinley Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Maciejewski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Tinley Park is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-14. As for Lemont, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 26-5-1.

Coming up, Tinley Park is taking a road trip to face off against Glenbard North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lemont, they will welcome Argo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lemont HS are facing the Argonauts at the right time seeing as the Argonauts are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
