It was a good run, but Pratt unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cimarron Bluejays by a score of 2-1. While the Greenbacks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bluejays 25-21 in the first set.

Pratt started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Mica Stapleton paced Pratt's offense, picking up ten kills. Stapleton got some help from Emry Myers and her 12 assists. Stapleton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cimarron can attribute much of their success to Kynlee Frink, who had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Frink has posted since back in October of 2024.

Pratt's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Cimarron, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Cimarron has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hugoton on the 13th. Hopefully Pratt paid attention to the Bluejays' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
