Baseball Recap: Bronx High School of Science Comes Up Short

Bronx High School of Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Walton Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by just one run.

Bronx High School of Science saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Brisman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bronx High School of Science's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Walton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

While Bronx High School of Science had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
