Shadow Mountain suffers fifth straight loss on the road

Recap: Shadow Mountain Matadors vs. Paradise Honors Panthers

The Shadow Mountain Matadors suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Paradise Honors on the road and fell 72-40. Shadow Mountain has struggled against Paradise Honors recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Shadow Mountain lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Pierce Rogers, who scored six points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Ramiro, who scored eight points.

Shadow Mountain dropped their record down to 2-17 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Paradise Honors, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.

Shadow Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Moon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Moon Valley and Shadow Mountain are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Paradise Honors, they will head out on the road to challenge Greenway at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Greenway will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 270th, while Paradise Honors is ranked 89th).
