Volleyball Recap: Paradise Valley Trojans vs. Buckeye Hawks
Paradise Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Buckeye Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-8.
Buckeye's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaycee Proctor led the charge by getting ten digs and seven assists. Those ten digs gave Proctor a new career-high.
Paradise Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Buckeye, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Paradise Valley has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against North Canyon on the 16th. As for Buckeye, they will head out on the road to take on Desert Edge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
