Northwest Yeshiva's leading rebounder did his thing again on Thursday. Leon Varon shot 4-for-6 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. We rated that as his best performance of the season, easily topping his previous best, set last Monday, when he posted four points in addition to seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals (Gamescore: 17.1 vs. 11.4).

Varon and Northwest Yeshiva will square off against Cedar Park Christian at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. Thanks in part to Varon's efforts, Northwest Yeshiva will roll in on a three-game winning streak.
