Baseball Recap: Klamath Union Comes Up Short

Klamath Union managed to slip by Madras the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pelicans lost 17-7 to the White Buffaloes on Friday. The Pelicans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the White Buffaloes earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Reese Johnson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Maruk Morris was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Klamath Union's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Madras, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Klamath Union beat the White Buffaloes by a score of 8-5 later that day.
